Default C6 Owners - What Kind of Gas mileage are you getting?

I am in the market for a 2005 C6. This car will be my daily driver, just like my last C5 corvette and my current GTO. I would like to know from those owners that are using their C6 as a daily driver, what kind of gas mileage are you getting? I am more interested in the city driving average VS the highway number. My daily commute on the Garden State Parkway aka the Garden state parking lot, includes a lot of stop and go.

Thanks!

Most of my driving is freeway commuting, and I get about 24 mpg on average. I also have a GTO (2004, 6speed) and the GTO gets only about 22 on my commute.

Around town, I average about 13 in the GTO, but about 16 in the Vette.

Mine is a DD and my average right now on the DIC is 22.8 mpg. On a trip to Vegas last month a got 29 mpg. To me that is great mileage considering how often I put my right foot down to the floor .

Have close to 1900 miles on a 06 A6 and have averaged 22 since we got it. No trips but very little city driving. I also had a 04 GTO 6 spd and averaged 18 in same kind of driving.

All suburban driving, 20 mile commute each way. So far just under 18MPG, and I'm pretty easy on the throttle (although during my commute, I really don't have much chance to open it up). So, this to date, is the best car I've owned yet for MPG!!

Oh, I did have an instantaneous reading of 70MPG going down a 1/2 mile hill at about 75MPH today, so if you're drive is all down hill, you have that to look forward to!

Just noticed you have an 05 GTO, I had an 05 GTO also. I was only getting around 16MPG, so I'm about 1 1/2 MPG better so far in my C6 in the exact same commute.

Around town mpg is TERRIBLE. I've been averaging about 12mpg in the city (admittedly, Boston is one of the worst cities to drive in)

On a ~600 mile road trip I set the cruise control at 78mph and I averaged 29.8mpg!

The difference between city and highway is incredible. Unfortunately, I do 90% of my driving in the city =(

Mine is a DD and I average 16.5-17 mpg... mostly city driving around 45mph with stop lights and the sort. But I am always flooring it every chance I get

On highway, I've gotten 30mpg.

My 2005 Vert w/auto tranny gets about 21-23 around town and 25-26 on the interstate. Overall average at 23,000 miles is 24.6.
