How many C6 owners would sell their.......

Same here for the most part I don't remove the top. Only for switching between the transparent top and painted top just depends on sun. I actually would prefer a fixed roof coupe.
But if the Z-06 is going to be more bumpy and if you feel every little blemish on the road probably not. Roads here take their toll on cars. How about a Z-06 with F-55?

A guy I work with wanted a Z06...until he found out they were Manual only. He's had two 'Vettes previously, both C3 and he does not want to shift anymore.
So he is going to settle for a C6 Coupe with A6 instead.

I'd be interested in an A6 Z06, although like others have mentioned, I really enjoy taking the top off my coupe. Wouldn't really care for a convertable either way.
I think traditional manual trannies are on the way out. Eventually, I think everyone will have some type of automated manual or manual automatic eventually.
Someone else mentioned the "need" for the extra horsepower, no we really don't need it on the street, but wanting it is another story. I mean, do any of us feel we "needed" a Vette?

I think the reputation and image of the Z06 would suffer if it was offered with an automatic.
It's just my opinion but I think such a supercar should only have a manual transmission.
Now, I understand, if a person is under 30 or perhaps even older they may not know how to drive a manual. They may not know the sheer boundless joy and risk of a full on powershift at WOT.
I was doing that at 18 sitting behind a 396 in my four speed SS Camaro-pedal locked on the floor, jab the clutch, and jam the shifter....better not miss!
I don't like autos in performance cars.

I Agree, I Would Never Buy An Automatic Vette. But Add The Paddle Shift And You Gain A Whole New Dimension. I Have 2007 3lt Lmb Coupe. I Hate Driving It In Auto Mode, But In Sport Mode/paddle Shift: "wow", Completely Different Car. Would I Buy A Z06 If It Came In Auto With Paddle Shift? Absolutely!!!!

If you drive in congested areas lots of gridlock you will like the automatic. I have both and after 18 years of driving a manual I do enjoy driving an automatic. In most cases the auto is faster off the line from take off as it takes more skill to launch the manual and getting the power to the ground effectively.
It really depends on what you will be using your car for and type of driving you do.
