Default dallas area TUNE

Hey yall I'm in the dallas area and I was looking at getting a tune. LG motorsports does them I know for like 500 bucks. I've heard people talk about Chuck Cow from New York of corvettes of weschester. for like 350 on a mail in order tune. IM trying to figure out which would be a better tune to go with a mail in order from chuck, or to take my car into LG and pay 150 bucks more. anyone that has either one i'd really apperiate yalls thoughs and inputs well thank you

Call John Page at 21st Century Muscle Cars in Carrollton (972)417-7177....an authorized Lingenfelter installer. I was extremely pleased with the work they did for me.

On my car I had them do the LPE air intake and tune, It made a huge difference for me.

I don't think you can go wrong with LG either. I toured his shop yesterday and it some very nice rides, tools, and equipment as well as knowledgable folks.

You've got a lot of good choices in Dallas - be thankful!

If there is a difference, it would be that one comes in the mail for your car, and one gets tuned at a shop, watching your car, probably on a dyno. If there's $150 difference, that could account for it.

Substancial difference is both HP and TQ (and it's the TQ you really feel). A BIG plus is, if you have a MN6, they program out that silly skip shift.

btw, on our cars (unlike a great deal of others) a quality intake DOES make a difference. Just make sure to do it before (or in conjunction with) a tune.

Give Carlos (myhardtop) and Pat a call, you won't be disappointed. Pat is a very good tuner. My 7.0 z06 made awesome power with an air charger and tune only. I picked up like 30 to the wheel on stretches of the curve, and it's a very safe tune. Pat can tune with the best of them and you won't get bit with the "vette tax".

Yeah, they are good guys. I have many friends working there, and I talk too many of their very satisfied customers. We are new to the game; LG certainly gives us a measurement stick(s) to strive for.

Check us out by either clicking on the QMAC button to the left of this page "the vendors list" Or by typing: www.theair-charger.com

We will also be providing you (the C6 guys) plenty of performance options within the next 3 weeks; please visit us often and/or e-mail us with all your questions. Like I said, we are just starting to get out feet wet. We are new to this, but quickly making a name for ourselves

Thanks,
Carlos
