I'm trying to decide between an 05 MY coupe vs an 07 VY coupe. Does anyone have an opinion on the difference in colors? The prices Ive seen are almost the same, but Im thinking I like the MY better.

Millennium Yellow has an orange tint.

Velocity Yellow has a green tint.

As for your answer, I loved MY until I saw VY. Now when I go back to MY, it just doesn't look as sharp as VY- it looks a little too mustardy now! JMHO! If you are considering the decision as a whole between C5/C6- coming from me having owned a C5 and then just recently purchasing a C6- No Question there- GET THE C6!

You say the price is almost the same??? Go for the 07. I like both colors but I went for silver. My neighbor has MY. Good luck with your choice

As much as I love M.Yellow , I'd go with the 07 because of the refinements that have been made.

This is my 2cents, Mil. a hotter yellow, VY too bright for me.

I was under the impression people get Yellow cars to be seen. If that is true for you, get VY, it is the most attention getting of all the colors for sure. Not that MY isn't, VY just more so. There were 3 VY Vettes at the museum around my VR, I have to admit I was impressed, it is an awesome color, but I'm happy with my choice. It did make me think twice though.

I had an 01 MY vert and now have an 07 VY vert. I like both colors just the same. A little different hue is all. They're both great so you can't go wrong either way.

The MY just looks a little deeper or richer to me...not as bright. What are the differences/improvements between the 05 and 07? I have a 98 pewter vert and am looking for a change.

I have VY and love it, but I love MY also. To be honest, I kinda like MY more . I really need to see them side by side, but as some have stated, MY is deeper and VY is damn I need sunglasses.

I prefer VY, but it's a close call. As others have said, though, I'd go with the '07.

I like 'em both. I was a little disappointed when they switched, as I inititally wanted to MY but had to wait until 2006 to buy. After seeing VY in person, I forgot about the previous color. I really love VY between the sun & shade where you can see the color change from yellow to slightly greenish hues!
