Interior - white haze?

This is indeed outgassing of the interior fabrics that accumulates on the plastic panels as well as on the inside of the glass. This has become a major issue in homes, especially in baby nurserys,as these gasses are toxic to infants. It is all part of that new car smell, and I suspect may be the cause of all the modaholism that is rampant among the regulars here on the Forum(buy new car/mod/buy new car/mod/etc)!

I picked up the Lexol in the orange bottle at Advance Auto Parts. Used it and it worked fine. I too, think that the white appearance is the materials drying out and gases coming off of the plastics. It is just strange that it does this in my Vette. Never had problems in my 94 Z28 that I still own.... don't have problems in my 2007 Tahoe.....actually, never had this problem in any vehicle I have owned. I guess it could be worse, but it is just a strange problem. Thanks for all the input!!

I also get this something similar on my dash. If you run your finger over it, it doesn't seem to come off.
One day, I was using a small California duster on the interior of my car. And, I happened to run it over the dash.
Surprisingly, it took it off. Hardly any effort.
Not expected, but, I'm not complaining.
Give it a try.

Hmmm I don't have the white haze on my leather/vinyl but noticed a foggy haze all over my windshield, gauge cluster window, radio screen. (thats what I thought the thread was about)
Cleaned, and came back
Not as bad but reminded me of when a heater core lets out...
As far as protecting the leather & vinyl, heard nothing but good feedback about 303 too.
