Thanks guys! I love this car for sure.. and I think the black is def. the best color :-)... jk, these cars look great in every color.
Dude, I know what you mean... I have already been looking at getting stuff, IE. appearance stuff, engine dress up.. CAI, Headers/exhaust... but I don't want to spend any money. lol.... we will see how long it lasts... My SS, was 430rwhp... so, I know the feeling of that much power... wouldn't take much to get this bad boy up there.. bolt ons and a nice cam... But I don't want to touch the engine until warranty is up. lol, anyways... I wouldn't mind seeing pics of your car! It sounds great! I might have to copy you a little
you will mod it just give it time... well i said i wouldnt touch the thing except for tint the windows, some rims and exhaust... look what it turned into, by the way i got my 07 in october

Bigger, Blacker, Faster
Its great to see another guy around my age with a Vette. I am 23 and i just purchased my first Corvette (first Chevrolet for that matter) in January. We pretty much have the same car, and started with the same first mod. I have a 2007 black on black Z51, chrome wheels, 3LT package, with DVD nav, and all the works. The first thing that i did was get my windows tinted.
On a side note i went to 5% tint, and i have already payed the price. I got a ticket not 2 days after putting my tint on. But in all honesty it is too dark. I cant see out of the back of the car, and i have to put my windows down at night when i come to an intersection. I am currently in Afghanistan so i can get it removed, but i am scheduling my fiance to take it back to the place where i had it done, and i am goins to go with a more legal tint level.
Anyway welcome to the vette club and congrats on the car. And since you are around my age, i am sure that you have a Myspace page, so stop by my page sometime and check it out. I dont have many pics of my car on there yet, but i do have a video of me doing a dyno run.

hey, yeah we do have the exact same car pretty much. Except that I do not have the nav... I will never use it, so I figured it wasn't worth the extra 2 g's. On my tint, I did a great premium tint, and its rated at about 18% in the rear, and 28% on the sides.. yet it is still considered legal on the sides, even though the tint is below 35%.... I really like it, the visibility in the rear is great, at night I can see great.. But it improves the quality, and the look of the car so much!

I think just to be on the safe side, i am going to go 35% all the way around. Its gonna wind up costing me double, because i am in effect paying for 2 tint jobs, but how can i drive if i cant see... BTW the pics of your car look awesome!

Yeah, I have had 3 cars.. and on everyone of them I have gone, 35% on the sides. and 20% on the rear.. this is the first time that I shelled out more money to get the "higher" quality tint, which makes it rated a little bit lower because its a little darker. As far as visibility, I have never had a problem with the 20% in the rear.. but its all about preference, if you want to do 35% all the way around, I would say go for it..

Maybe the server was just unavailable when I was looking earlier. I even plugged the web address into a browser and got a server unavailable error. They're showing up now though. Nice pics too, I might add.
