Pull it out slap the insurance back on it and go out and drive it.

Cars can always be washed if they get dirty. Enjoy the car while you're able to.

Corvettes make terrible "coffee table books".

If the weather turns bad it will only be bad for a week or so this time of year.

Tom

PS: I have it on good authority your car will not melt or rot away.

I never store mine. I drive it all winter provided there's no snow(as there is now ) Putting it away for a set period means missing too many good days.

I back my 07 vert out of my garage for the first time since I got it three months ago. Really wanted to go drive it but the roads were wet and alot of sand on the roads. Also 40 here today so that is a good sign.

I couldn't take it anymore. Turned the garage up to 50. Put all of 3 miles on my new toy. Into the garage for a short undercarriage wash. Wednesday is supposed to hit 43!!!!!

I actually saw an '07 convert, white/black top, with a dealer plate on the back in St Paul today. It was quite dirty, as it was low 40's today and although not much snow to melt there is enough spray from the sides of the road to get things slopped up. I'm sure it will be cleaned/detailed as a low mile demo in a few weeks. Personally, I'm going to wait until my insurance kicks in again on April 1st. By then, the main streets are usually swept and the sand blasting is minimized. My daily driver cars always seem to pick up the most chips in early spring when the remnant sand gets moved around, especially on the freeways.

Gotta agree with the group here. Drive it! the worst thing you can do to a motor is leave it sit (IMHO).

40's and rain here today and still enjoyed driving the car. I bought this car to drive it. I'll wash it the next day we don't have rain.
