Default Help on new C6 -Auxiliary Direct connect for Radar Detector

My C5 had a wire harness under the passenger floorboard fuse panel for direct connecting an auxiliary component, which I used for my radar detector. I read the owners manual for my new C6 and I do not see it listed. Is there one in the C6?

If not, where have any of you hooked yours up as a direct wiring option?

Thanks for any feedback.

You can go to an auto parts store and buy an add-a-circuit. It replaces one fuse in your fuse box and piggybacks another fuse & circuit onto it.

Invisicord works well but I want to be able to turn my unit on/off without reaching up where everyone can see me.

Just wrap the hot wire around the cruise control fuse (either blade, it doesn't matter which side) and plug the fuse back in. While you're down there look for a bolt/screw that bolts to metal and put your ground wire there. You're done. The Radar is powered on and off when you turn the ignition on and off.

The nice thing about the Invisicord is that you don't have to reach up to turn the radar detector on or off. It comes on automatically when you start the car and goes off automatically when you shut down.

If you have a standard mirror on a C6 first year or C5, you still have to manually turn off your detector.
