Default Phone call from Bowling Green

Much to my surprise, I got a phone call from Matt at the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green. He asked me how I liked my Vette and was everything OK, was everything the way I wanted it and did I have any comments. I was impressed to say the least. My car is great, is everything I wanted and has met all my high expectations.
I have not bought a GM car since 1974. Glad to see the courtesy.
Anyone else get this type of call on their new Vette?

I have seen another response from getting a phone call. Nice to see customer service taken seriously!

Yes I've received calls from BG too. I assume they attempt to call everyone at least once?

I received my call a few weeks ago. I asked a couple of questions but to my surprise the person who called knew little about the car and was in a hurry to get off the line.

Doesn't suprise me. Our tour guide through the plant didn't seem to know as much as I expected.

This thread pops up every month or so. Some of us have received calls and others have not. There seems to be no reason why some got the call and others didn't. I did.

I received my call yesterday. It was clearly a marketing ploy...The young kid that called read her script well, but she was clueless otherwise. I guess I appeciate GM's attempt to show that they "care."

Got the call last month and they said they would call again in 60 days just to check back and see if everything is all right. Never had that kind of service before

Chevrolet should call after the first year. If they would like to improve the Vette comments about it then might be a little different.

Default Help From The Big Vette Honjos

You are right, just an public relation ploy like their warranty, bull stuff. They didn't return a call on the (2006 C6 A6) transmission question I left with their sweetie. They called twice I believe, it was a joke, almost like talking to one of those robitic machines. Just preview of things to come unless you can find a dealer to make up for factory inemptness. GM, if you are monitornig this site, please post a thread to let us know you are not dead and are seriously listening. If anybody at GM BG is listening, I beg you to respond to this site, you probably could solve alot of confusion. It would cut way in half the BS on this website, why don't you post a tread or two about the Vette to inform us, like recalls, bullitins, etc. I feel like I'm ******* and I am the service manager because GM is concealing like our government. I'm not sure the service manager is not always giving the right sccop unless I ask him a direct question on a subject. I know that I'm missing some answers that would be very helpful. Please don't overload with replys unless you are a GM representative, such as Tom W. and/or Tadge J. or one of their assistants. I know this is a dream, make the Forum dream come true! THANKS
