:o Thanks Todd.
To the original poster I apologise. I forgot about the Z06 and the baffles. There is nothing on the non Z06 C6 that will give you the same affect. In place of the fuse trick, one of our very own forum members "Pipedreams" sells a switch kit that you can install very easily to activate this feature on demand from the cockpit and not have to have it always on.

OK. That sounds right. Thanks.

Just as I submitted the reply button I saw you were from Berkeley. If you want it to run "right" take it to Rick at Synergy Motorsports in Fremont. He is also a vender on this forum.
He tunes my drag racer (02 Trans Am with an LS1 engine) and it runs right. Stock motor with longtubes headers and I turn 11.7 ET's. When my 07 coupe gets in the end of this month, it will be going to Rick.
His does it right.

I called Rick. He says the stock settings are sluggish. $500 to make it run right. I wonder what if any harm this may do to the car?

Your car does NOT run 11.7 with the only mods being long tube headers.

So you're doing a hard break in on a new vette?
The vette starts to get stronger at 3K miles and the most powerful at ~10K miles. (Or so what I read)
My butt-o-meter doesn't have memory like that as I only drive it once every 2 weeks.

NOt really. Hard to resist punching it now and then. Doesn't seem as responsive as the 06 when punched. CAr has 200 miles on it. Has not been driven over 90. I think these cars are so much more advanced than the old cars, when it was important not to drive them over 60 mph for the first 500 miles, it's a different animal now.
