Default Please stop it you insecure wannabe jerks!

See story of Monty Red needs repainting after trip to New Orleans.

The jerk who did that must have a relative in San Antonio. Just drove up from Houston this morning to Ft Sam Houston for the All American Bowl.
Some CLOWN keyed my car (O5 LMB) down the entire length of the drivers side. On base no less ! ! ! No reason for this other than sheer jealousy.

I am sick to my stomach !!

Mixed emptions...Trying not to fret because it won't do any good, yet I am FUMING!! vs.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Car will be at Ritcheys Collision in Houston first thing Monday morning: (Take that you idiotic vandal).
Paratroopers Lead the Way!!!!

Sorry to hear this, it is inconceivable to me how anybody can do something like that, and for what benefit?

Man, What the hell is wrong with people???? I read about the MR in N.O. incident, and I didn't even know what to say, I felt such a internal feeling, even though it wasn't my car - I really did not even know what to add to this inexcusable act. Now another vette gets some a-hole sorry A$$ treatment again?? After I read the MR event, that night we were heading to the movies, my wife said lets take the vette. It was a perfect night for a top-down ride and a flick. Like most movie theaters there are a bunch of kids, some good - some punks. Well we drove the truck cause it just wasn't worth it. The story was to fresh in my head to have enjoyed what should be an enjoyable ride. And then I couldn't sit in a 2 hour movie wondering "what if"

Man, we all have worked hard (well almost all... LOL) for what we have earned - and earned the right to enjoy it. I can only say I'm VERY sorry to hear of this AGAIN!!! What the the hell is wrong with people when "class envey" is so bad, something this extreme is what we have to worry about?

Default keying of cars

i hope these people that do these type of things are aware that they are taking there lives in there hands. I would make sure they feel the pain in there hands for the rest of there lives. In certain countries you would have your hand cut off.

It's just another sign of our times. Some people ( I say that lightly) have no respect for anything. Just look at how many people are murdered in the big cities every year.

and unfortunately, that is the direction a large portion of our population is headed.

It is so sad, but I won't take the Vette to a lot places just for that reason...

Thanks for the "ear" guys. Gotta tell you though, I keep hearing the wife's voice before I left: Take the Jeep or the Maxima (repeat, repeat, repeat).....
Should of listened.. ....Nah...I earned it, paid for it, so I shouldn't have to hide it.
Can't let the jerks win!
Thanks again!

So sorry - so sad....

I never expected the reaction from weirdos that you get just driving the Vette. I pretty much never leave it parked out my sight (except in the garage ) and will be even more carefull now. I do agree that we can afford it and should drive it though.

May all these vandals suffer a terrible death - preferably by the Ebola virus....

I am truly sorry about the damage to your car. Be it jealously or just for the 'fun' of destroying someone else's property....I just don't understand it. What satisfaction does one gain from destroying a perfect stranger's car (and typically it's the nicer cars that get keyed)?

I wish there was some way these criminals could be caught and made to pay for their actions. If you could catch them in the act...yell at them to stop and perhaps fire a few warning shots...into their knee cap.

Fortunately I have another vehicle as there are many places and events I go and choose not to take the Corvette. It's a sad commentary but true.

Again, sorry about the damage to your car.

Sorry to hear about this. I know how you feel because some jerk keyed my wife's black Trailblazer when it was 2 months old.

I got keyed over Christmas at a local mall. Just the drivers side door. Still not pretty.

After a bit of serious anger (homicidal thinking) it occurred to me that I couldn't do anything about it and that it would be a lot easier for me to fix the door than for whoever did it to fix whatever is wrong with them.

I fixed it and don't have to go to that angry place that doesn't do me ANY good.

Good luck with the repairs. I hope it turns out good for you.
