Some People Are Just Weird!

Reminds me of the time some highschool kids were looking at my car (Not a C6 at the time.) This one kid tells me his dad is giving him his corvette when he graduates. I asked what year it was. The kid answers ."83". So I told him those were very rare and hang on to it. He was a nice kid and I reallly didn't want to embarras him in front of his friend so I didn't tell him they didn't make 83's.

Should've told him you had a Chevrolet Skunk Works prototype floor paddle shifter. "Shhhh, whatever you do, don't let anyone know I told you that. Chevy would have my a**."

OMG they do that to me here at work too. Every single day I drive the Vette in to work, somebody says something about it. My boss and one other lady who works here always comment on it, nice comments though I find it strange to say something every day. Used to have this weird guy work here who every single time he passed my office he would say, "Saw that yellow Vette out there this morning" in that hicky-redneck voice he has. I'm so glad he's gone; he gave me the *******..................

Taking the vette out is dangerous. At work one of the older guys told me that anybody that could afford one was being paid too much. Since I want a raise I cannot take it there. I also build houses on the side another G.C. friend of mine told me not to let any of my sub-contractors see it. He thinks that they'll think that I make too much $$ and charge me more for the same work. I tried it with the subs and he was right. One of them told me to my face if he knew that I had the vette his price would of been more. Spite, jelosy, and envy never got me anywhere. I'm happy for other succesful people. They are easier to deal with than unhappy losers.

It's simple really, for ME it's just more fun to drive. I had a paddle shifter in my last car and the experience just wasn't the same. Again, just personal preference, nothing to do with performance.

Almost fell off my seat laughing at this... What a nut-cake...
The guy doesn't know corvettes at all with the remarks he made to you.
As long as he didn't key your car "You Should Have Bought The Paddle Shifters"

Ah, you know your a redneck when you approach a stranger in a checkout line at a store and give him a bunch of crap about what's best for him. The last I heard is the paddle shift is not available on the ZO6.
