Pics of your finished garge floors
I'd like to see some pictures of finished garage floors. Whether it be tile, epoxy/paint, carpet, etc. Shots with the Vette would be nice. Trying to decide on how to finish mine.
Thanks

I also have the Rust-oleum Epoxy. It is OK, not great, just OK. After the first two coats dryed it was looking great. Got a bit of water on the floor and it was slipery as heck. So I mixed up a third coat and put a few handfulls of play sand in the epoxy mix. Put down the third coat. Now the epoxy has a little sand in and grip, just in case any fluids get on the floor it is not slippery.
That said the floor cleans up farily well from oil spills ( Oil dry) or dripped brake fluid ( oil dry or either). The one part which I dont like about it is when I bring the vette back from a weekend on the track. The slicks are still quite soft and sticky. Normally I am too tired to jack the car up when I get home and leave on jack stands or put the street tires on, so I wait a day.
That day wait with the slicks on the epoxy, causes the epoxy to stick to the tires. I jack the car up and the epoxy has pealled off the floor. I have severl places under my vette where the tires were.

Jimmie Jam..
The lift is a Snap On... but unfortunately they do not handle this lift any longer (apparently another company picked up product line but I do not know who). I got this lift in mint condition (used about 1/2 dozen times) and got a great deal (new $3500 purchased for $1000). There are several lift manufacturers out there...here is one that I know about (friends got lifts from them and very satisfied)>>

The mid rise sissor lift is perfect for those of us that do not have 8 1/2 foot + ceilings... use it all the time...best tool purchase I have made

It turned out so well that I decided to park the car out back in the dirt
Ah, nothing like pillars, stone, granite etc. to dress up one's garage!
not to mention the grand stairs entrance to the garage floor!
