I'd like to find a black rear storage tray that fits the carpeted area of a Z06 coupe. I've seen Suburban and PT Cuizer trays that are molded to fit and will hold a gallon or two of water if something happened to get dumped back there. They are made out of a soft plastic or a rubber material.

I've checked eBay, West Coast Corvettes and other places but no luck.

Yes, GM makes a cargo organizer that spans the full width of the hatch and is divided up into 3 sections. It has a lip on the front that fits over the ridge just behind the seats.

You are correct. MOPAR makes a tray with a 2" lip for the PT Cruizer that fits snugly over the entire carpeted area in the back next to the hatch. I would guess it will hold 3+ galons of water. My wife puts a car cover on her car and it occasionally gets wet from rain. It would be nice to have a tray just for those rare occasions here in So Cal.

This is not an organizer but a cargo mat for protection if carrying something that might stain carpet. I plan to get one to haul stuff to the track. C5 XTC

I just got the black rubber cargo mat like C5 xtc shows from MidAmerica motorsport, and really like it. It has a honeycomb "dimple" pattern that would hold liquid, is nice and thick, and should really protect the back end very well. Looks very nice in black.
