Default Front License Plate Bracket

Does the 2007 vette come with a Front License Plate Bracket. For those that live in a State the requires a front plate what did you do? Picks if you have any.

Default Liscense Plate frame

Yes to 07 does come with a liscense plate frame, it is attached by four sticky pads, and while it is secured to the car pretty well, you can also take it off very easily, if you dont want it there, I took mine's off. Of course the car looks a hell of a lot better with it off, but you gots to obey the law.

The Vette comes with a factory abortion that mounts on the upper bumper.

CT requires a front plate but I never run one.

I use my DIY 2 second on/off front plate mount when I go to Jersey and sometimes when I go to NY.

Go with the Top Flight removeable bracket...you won't be sorry!

You can remove and reinstall your front plate in about 30 seconds with two wing nuts. The portion of the bracket that stays on the car is not visible unless you get down low and look up.

I've been all over the Southern Car Parts website and can not find the plate bracket. Am I missing something?

Top flight works for my Z06. Nice product. In NY traffic people give tickets when you park somewhere for "no front plate". If you get stopped its the second thing they ticket you for.

I'd like to hear more about your DIY fix to the front plate. Our state does require the front plate but almost no Vettes run them. I'd like the option of putting it on when parking downtown. The Parking Authority is known for **** techniques.

The factory decided, IMO, not to design a decent front license plate frame. The plastic 'thing' they provide is a joke. It defaces the car IMO. I'll make you a bet. You will NEVER see any GM promotional material of any kind with a photo of a C6 with the front license plate holder installed.

I also think, from observation , that the magazines were also 'told' not to show the car in any articles with the front plate holder installed. Betcha you can't find a photo of it in any magazine either.

The aftermarket solutions are very good IMO. The factory solution is , IMO, just another example of the factory passing on cost to the buyer because they know they can.

Here is a photo of a DIY front plate mount. See MY CORVETTE PHOTOS to see how it was done.
