Very creative and expressive of the marque's heritage !!
Lighting makes it look like sixties GM "Honduras Maroon" or "Palomar Red" .
Would I do it, not sure...........but it only needs to please one person !!

Retro ( or is today's word "throwback"? ) is good, sells a lot of "stuff".
But not as good if you were there when it was contemporary !!

Can I interest you in the retro under hood treatment ?

I like it. Very original. Looks better than a lot of the exhaust fillers, mesh grills, and ugly rims I've seen on a lot of these cars.

Paint the white Mag Red , remove the emblems and you would have a great looking Corvette.

Well, since you asked...

In the words of Mr. Horse from the Ren & Stimpy Show, "No sir, I don't like it".

Not the greatest pic but the one in this photo (2007 vert) is owned by a gentleman from Alabama and that is his 58 next to it. I wouldn't do it to mine but it did look OK.

You know, I've thought of doing the exact same thing. I like it. Very distinctive and it makes a statement re: heritage of our marque.

Probably not for everyone, but that's why mods are cool. And unique combinations are interesting.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks like it is well done, but I personally do not like it. I would like to see it from a different angle, particularly from the back portion of the car looking forward.

The C6 is already to "retro" for my tastes. This paint scheme makes the car look even more dated.

Good for you, it's your car, please yourself.
GM

I gotta agree with "G". I saw this on a C5 and I liked it then.
