To celebrate my one year anniversary as a forum vendor and to thank the community for their great support, I am going to be giving away a caliper powdercoating service job to 1 lucky C5 owner and 1 lucky C6 owner.
I have had just under 200 satisfied corvette forum members use my services in the last year and have been overwhelmed by the response.
I have only advertised in the classified sections, so some might be unaware of me. For those that don't know, I am a C6 owner and enthusiast, and I have a powdercoat shop that specializes in caliper sets and other small parts (up to the size of a rear sway bar). I can do yours, or do them on exchange. All calipers are fully disassembled and inspected, any worn parts are replaced. If yours are sent in, its usually a 1-2 day turnaround. I have color matches for:
Torch Red
Victory Red
Anniversary Red
Mag Red I and II
Monterey Red
Polo Green
Black
Millenium Yellow
Velocity Yellow
Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic
and also offer any custom colors you desire, and can do the "Corvette" letters on the front calipers in just about any contrasting color.
Additionally, I include powdercoating the brackets, in either the same or a contrasting color, and offer a clearcoat on top of the color for extra shine and to protect the "Corvette" logos.
Normal prices are $200 for all 4 calipers and $30 flat rate shipping with a $200 refundable core charge. Additionally, some people prefer all new caliper seals and boots, and I offer a full rebuild for $50, which is the cost of the kit, as there is no additional labor beyond my normal teardown and cleaning to replace with new parts.
NOW FOR THE GIVEAWAY
*There will be a separate drawing in both the C5 and C6 forums. You must have that type of caliper to be eligible to win in either forum, so unless you have both a C5 and C6, there is no point in entering in the opposite forum.
*All members currently on my waiting lists will be automatically entered.
*You can either send me your brakes, or do an exchange. If you choose the exchange, you will be put on the waiting list and will have to pay the $200 core charge when your turn comes up.
