Default they broke into your car too

About a month ago the same thing happend to me in Houston. Remember just like me, you'll get over it, and take necessary precautions from now on. I even moved, it was stupid to have been where I was in the first place.

Whether its Katrina evacuees or a professional group, They need to be stopped. Makes you not want to get out and about anymore

Ok, so I couldn't contain myself. Did you guys hear about the Job Fair that was held in Austin for the relocated Katrina "victims"? On the radio and TV for a week; a joint effort of FEMA and TX Unemployment Commission. Had buses, rented a hall, had food, fully staffed with workers. Guess how many "victims" got on the buses. Go on guess, don't wait for me to tell you how many of them wanted jobs..... Give up? One. That's right one guy got on a bus and he just wanted the free food, never applied for a job.

Ok, I'm back in control and won't do this again..

Default bad spots...

Well one more good thing about Green Bay, no organized car theft rings.

I have read stories about some young guys and their convertibles that "park in a back alley". I was like "Are you nuts?" any fool with a knife can get into a convertible, I don't even like parking in any ramp. But not much is going to help with professionals.

Might be a good idea to keep an eye open on eBay.

Good luck on catching up with these idiots.

That makes me so mad I can't stand it, same bastards walking down the streets of NO. with plasmas. But its the MEDIA that portrays them so bad, their not that bad. And Houston's murder rate has more than doubled since last year.

I will definitely keep an eye out for them, check some local pawn shops too.

dood!!! i feel your fuggin pain!!! i had my rims taken and my 6 dropped on blocks. that feeling in my stomach was AWFUL!!!! mine were just stock, so i cant imagine what you must have felt like. you have one of the best looking C6s on this forum, and i hope you can get your rims back!!!! *fingers crossed*

add: this might help you feel a little better. a local dealer quoted my insurance company $6700 to replace my rims, tires, and sensors. i suspect that kind of check would go a long way in helping you get your set-up back. good luck mang!!!

I had this happen to my C3...at least the bastards had enough class to leave the car on cinder blocks and not on the ground. It turned out to be a ring of 16 yr old kids. They had a lot of rims and tires where they caught them...however they were not adults and first timers so they had their hands slap...hell it is probably them that took yours!

Sorry to hear that your rims were snached.

I know how you feel, in the early part of 1990, some baste*ed broke my drivers window on my C4 and used the jack stored in the compartment behind the passenger seat to jack up my car and rip off my rims.

I wish the car fell on him!

Keep the fight up with your insurance company (friggen baste*eds too) and you will get your rims!

Been there, done that and have the t-shirt. I fought like a Mother fu*ker and they paid for my rims.

Keep up the fight dude....it for this reason you pay for insurance.
