Default Thanks Ed (pipedreams) for the Mud Flaps

Just installed the Mud Fins if you want to call them that. There perfect! I can't even notice them. With less then 300 miles on my C6 there going to to save the lower part of my car for long long time, thanks for the great product,

Larry

Don't get'cha feathers burred up, Ed. Just'a kid'n, I call'em splash guards on my Vette. I'd call'em mud flaps on my Gimmy.

Got mine last week and have them on the car. I'm so glad Ed started making these again.

Default Installation?

Do you need the rear clips? What about the front push pins? Are they easy to install?

Install is pretty easy. The front push pins are already on the car. You just remove the bottom 3, then reinsert them through the splash guard. They come with a set of 4 clips for the rear, but you can also order an additional set, just in case.

Highly recommended.

The rears come with 2 clips per side and the front use the factory pins which come out like this:

Yep, just how I did mine! Ed, great product, hardly notice they are there!

Now on another note, can you figure out to convert a base c6 exhaust to act like the z06 with wireless cutouts? You would make a fortune, get the noise when you want it, keep it stock for long highway cruises, i.e. no drone. The stock exhausts sucks!
Thanks,
Gene

Default Please Note

06 Z06!

Flaps on front and rear

Also does the ground effect on the Z06 fit on the C6? and are they available?

I'd rather repaint the lower sections of my car yearly than use those things!

They look like something you'd see on a Toyota.

Default Color Match Splash Guards

Had WCC install the pricy color match guards (front and rear) on my O7 vel. yellow coupe. Cost a bunch, but worth the price because of savings to the paint finish.

That was the reaction I had... until I actually saw them on a car. Actually, I didn't see them until the owner commented about them. They really do not stand out like you might think they would. Find somebody that has them on their car, look at them, and then pass judgement.

Thanks Ed. Your flaps have saved my paint. I have to drive on county roads repaired with oil and gravel.

We call them splash guards and they work great. I put it off for over a year but I finally gave in. I installed Ed's splash guards and you don't even see them until I point them out.
