Here's my DSOM C6 and a real Daytona Sunset (I live in Daytona!).
This was taken about a year ago. Your camera is a lot better resolution than mine. This was real quick, and if I'd been able to get the car outside about 45 seconds earlier the sky would have been a little more orange and not so red, and you might have been able to see the car better.

Cool looking sky there Bob! Try shooting some before it gets that dark, prefferibly with a little sunlight still hitting the side of your car. Metallics really look awesome in sunset/sunrise beams.
