Current 2007 Selling Prices vs MSRP
I'll be negotiating for a 2007 C6 in the next couple of weeks and I am curious how they are selling relative to MSRP.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I had one ordered at $3K under MSRP, but bought an 06 off the dealer's lot instead (same dealer). Didn't want to wait for the dealer to get an allocation.

So far I have heard of 1500 over invoice to 3000 off MSRP but there are a few more leads I am following to see where I am going to order next month.

If you're ever in the area, you have to make a trip to Kerbeck's. In addition to all the new Vettes, they also have classic Vettes and classic muscle cars on display.
StrayDog is right about most of their cars being loaded. But they also usually have some teaser cars available. Right now they're advertising a base coupe for $367 under true invoice. No B.S. advertising cost mark-up added on. For someone who just wants to get into a new Vette, it's a tough deal to beat.

Invoice-at minimum. Invoice plus dealer holdback would be better.

Dealership here had an 06 for $12000 off MSRP in this weekend's paper. I never got around to calling about it as I am planning on ordering an 08. I'm sure they only had one at that price and it was probably already sold.

Thanks again.
How does it work when you buy from an out of state dealer (Kerbeck for example)? Specifically:
- I imagine that you negotiate the whole thing over the phone. True?
- What kind of paperwork/payment do you need to do to place an order if they don't have your car in stock?
- Can you get the car with the emissions equipment needed for your state? (Oregon is pretty easy there at least).
- How does delivery and closing the deal work? Do I need to sign and take delivery in person or can they deliver it to me?
- Do I have to pay sales tax in the state I buy it? (Oregon doesn't have sales tax).
- Will they take trade ins?
- Are there any wrinkles in financing or does it work like any other dealer?
- What happens if there is a defect with the car when you get it?
- Dealers usually take care of registration for you. I imagine you need to take care of the registration yourself if you buy out of state. Does getting it from out of state complicate the registration process?
Thanks again.

Look on the left side of your screen, scroll down to "Buy a Vette" and click on which vendor you want. Best thing to do is pick up the phone and have all your questions answered.
