The sorrow and anger I feel, 5 years later, is still palpable. Did my time in Iraq, etc...and loved every minute b/c of what I was accomplishing. But the men and women of FDNY/NYPD are never forgotten for their selfless sacrifice...as we watched almost 3,000 innocents lose their lives.

I have not and will never forget.
Thanks to every firefighter, police office, EMT, emergency response worker, and armed forces personnel for your commitment, bravery, and heroism everyday. It is because of you America is the strongest country in world and will overcome this tragedy.
Thanks for making it safe for all of us.

The pic below was a student-organized tribute from Aggieland (that's Texas A&M University for you non-Texans) shortly after the 911 attacks. This is one of my favorite pictures of all time, so I thought I would share it here. God bless all of those directly impacted by the 911 attack, the police, firefighters, soldiers (and all the other people who work to protect freedom). We will never forget.

Never Forget........... we will always remember the innocent people who lost their lives that day. Please pray for Tom Regan who lost his life in the WTC.

Let all hearts cry out
To make the dark force flee
Let all hands clasp
To claim the victory
Let all minds join
To keep the memory
Never forget, never forgive, never submit, never flee
To make the dark force flee
Let all hands clasp
To claim the victory
Let all minds join
To keep the memory
Never forget, never forgive, never submit, never flee
