I gave my C3 to my son so that it would stay in the family Headers and side pipes too much for grandma and grandpa

C5 excellent car

C6 took my heart and like Nav Onstar power so smooth

The clamshell hood on my '94 AND the Delco Bose Gold in the '94. That stereo was WAY better than the Bose in the C5's or C6.

BTW, I don't think I miss anything in the C5's compared to the C6s.

C3 - I miss the sleek lines and proportions of my '68 vert and the sound of the '69 factory side exhaust that was added.

C6 - I love the power, braking, handling and overall reliability and comfort

Default Tires

Believe it or not, I can take 4 tires to the races in my C4s.

Two in the hatch area, one in the passenger seat, and one up in the spare tire well area.

Can't figure out how to do that in the C6.

Default I forgot one

I agree with all of you that pointed out to the hood on the C4. I do enjoy being able to open the hood and get to most of the parts I wanted to adjust or remove and replace. I can only immagine that the seal around the c6 hood will require replacement sooner.

likes on my sold c5 z06, i loved how the rear window on the c5z didnt slope all down to the trunk like the c6 does, also loved that my c5 was as fast as my c6 with less mods. much cheaper. but i hated the outdated technology of the c5 like the radio/dash, headlights, etc

likes on c6, much newer, updated like it should be, removable top, headlights are awesome, the sharpness of the body unlike the c5 was more round, warranty, onlything i dislike about c6 is resale value and my high *** car payment but thats to be expected

The power of the LS6. 405HP from 346 CI. It makes almost the same HP to CI as the mightly LS7 everyone gusshes over. Stock for stock my 03 Z had about 15 more RWHP and that was will bad AFR's.

You asked.

Didn't read this whole thread so maybe this was answered, but you CAN open the doors when you put e-brake on if you buy a Window Valet from Southerncarparts here on the board. I was frustrated by that too until I learned about the Window Valet. That, and the ability to roll up/down the windows with the remote is worth the price to me!

1960 and 2005? Almost impossible to compare - they are lightyears apart. The 1960 goes to car shows, the 05 goes everywhere else. Both are beautiful cars. The 60 gets more looks than the 05, but that's it. In every way the 05 is far superior. It should be with a 45 year advantage in technology. I love em both, but there is no comparison, nor should there be, IMO.

I've loved all six, but comparing them is sort of like asking, "Is it warmer in the country or in the summer?"

The '70 and '73 were excellent cars for thier era -

My C5 was great and with 435RWHP, was a blast to drive.

The C6 is an extension of that and more refined. Soon, it too wll bost of >400RWHP
