Default Can't stop spending money

Since I got my vette two months ago, I have changed the door handles and rear third brake to color match my LeMans Blue, exhaust, clear bra, C-6 embroidered floor mats and rear mat, tinted windows, C-6 chrome wheel exchange from WCC and my next project is to paint the brake calipers.

When does this madness end????

NEVER - that is what is cool. I got mine about 2 months ago, here is the list....

- Clear bra (VentureShield)
- Cleartastic side protectors
- Leather console cover
- Leather door handle covers
- Clear plastic sill protectors
- Tint
- C6 floor and cargo mats
- DIY front grill screens
- DIY side vent screens
- Callaway Honker Intake
- Callaway Double-D exhaust
- Z51 sway bars (next weekend's project)
- Cargo separator
- 42 LED 3rd brake light
- 3rd brake flasher
- Aluminum pedals

Considering the following...

- Leather shift and brake boots
- Maybe leather seats
- Color matched engine decorations

Doesn't end but it does generally slow down a bit.

I found a way to save money. Get the extended warranty (I got mine free thanks to our court system) and then you won't put a blower on it becasue it voids the engine warranty.

Three months and I haven't spent too much yet, when I do it'll mostly be performance related.

But I see a whole lot of C5s running around here with all kinds of little widgets all over them, things like like Chrome Tailight covers and such. It kind of looks like they took a drive through PEP BOYS with the crap magnet on.

You'll be sorryyyyyyyyyyyyy...I've already accomplished 91 changes or mods to date, still no Magnacharger, or gone inside the engine and some of the mods I took off and resold for a different mod in its place! This is like the gambling addiction, I think?

You are mad. Yes It never stops.

But you can do it slowly. That is about it.
It is worse that a drug. I never thought about modding my 350Z.

This is insane.
Almost makes you wonder, would the extra cash been better toward a Z06.

Maybe you guys should wait until something breaks before spending more $$$ on it or "If it ain't broke don't fix it". Save your $$$$ as you will need it for tire replacements

Tire replacement ins't that much. Like $1400 for all 4 tires. That isn't bad at all.

If it ain't broke, make it better so it doesn't break later.

Which tires are you refering to and where from? It comes to at least $400 a tire for these run-flat replacements. Alot less if you go non-runflat.

Tire Rack. Goodyear F1 EMT. Front and rear is 1138. Cheaper than I quoted.

Another 200 for the change and balance, and it is still cheaper than I quoted.

Look, If you own a performance car and you sweat 1500 for tire replacement, time to get a cheaper car.

Sorry, no offense to anyone.

I will check this out when I do need replacements which will hopefully be awhile per my driving style. All new cars of today are like this low profile and expensive. Even new Mustangs. I have an older one and can get tires from 50 to 100 a tire so 4 of these tires equal 1 Corvette tire and will last longer. But for performance cars I wouldn't drive anything less or downgrade to a a Shelby GT-500 or the upcoming Dodge Challenger
