Foose Speedster Wheels
Doe's anyone know if the Foose Speedster wheels will fit a C6. I know they'll fit a C5. 19" front and 20" back. Also if anyone has pics, that would be great. There go my new runflats if I do decide to get the speedsters, if they fit. I'll definately have to get new tires. But I like the look!! Thanks a lot!!

The manufacture is MHT. The only wheel that Foose has that will fit our cars are the Speedster two piece wheel. They currently make a cast wheel of the same product, but the offset is not correct for our vehicles. i have been talking with them for about two weeks now and they are trying to make the cast wheel for our cars in the speedster model. This will make the reduce the prices. Currently the two piece version is upwards of $1200.00 each and they only come in 19" and 20". This means you will not be able to use factory tires and you will have to buy new ones. The picture of your silver C6 shows a chrome wheel allready installed. What type are they?
I hope this helps and if you find any additional info, please pass it on.

Thanks!! I got the picture of the silver C5 off the net. I think it has Foose Speedster 5's on it. There's not a lot of pics of C5's or C6's with Foose wheels available on the net so far. And, $1200 each! Yipes!! I knew I'd need new tires but at those prices I can get HRE's or Savini wheels which also look great. Probably more than the wife will let me spend. Ha, Ha, Ha!! But the Foose's are a great looking wheel. Let me know when MHT produces the new wheel for the C6. It'll just be something else for me to dream about for my vette.

All of you folks looking for new wheels... ask about weight. The LAST thing you want to do is add unsprung weight to your car. Bling is fine if you gotta have it, but don't add weight.

Update. MHT production engineer states that the Foose wheels called "Lusso and Speedster" will not properly fit the C6 corvette. Let's continue to find other sources since I am tired of Looking at C6 corvette's with Z06 wheels.

This is the site; www.rims-n-tires.com
You can click on any wheel you like, put in your car-year-model, and it shows you whether the wheel fits on your car or not, also shows bolt patterns and offsets. They also have wheel-tire packages.
They have alot of different wheels to look at by quite a few different companies.

Thanks Rocket,
I called them yesterday, and asked the lady if I could speak to the person with the most Corvette knowledge about some wheels, and she told me he was busy on a long distance call.
She asked for my number so he could return my call, I gave it, and I didn't hear back from him.
I guess they are selling plenty of wheels these days
