A New Sting Ray?
Just saw this copy of an article from Motor Trend. I can't believe Chevrolet would use the Sting Ray name on a car that's not a Corvette. Here's the URL: http://www.motortrend.com/future/con...ppa_sting_ray/

I can't believe you guys would believe anything written in Motor Trend.
Now, point to your head and say the magazine's initials, "M...T".

I'll buy lunch if the "Sting Ray" names ever appears on anything other than a Corvette. Even GM is not that dumb. Wait....they did put GTO on a jelly bean.

I know that the Corvette team folks frequent our forum, so I hope they read this thread.
The Stingray is a VETTE period. I agree that it's hard to believe GM would run the risk of polluting their most successful line of cars by naming some other vehicle "Stingray". To me it's nothing short of blashphemy.
Don't do it GM!

I wouldn't worry about it...read this and it'll make you feel better! My guess is that the Blue Devil wins out.

In addition, the word Hybrid also comes to mind.

I have heard numerous women make extremely favorable comments about Sky and the Solstice so if it has style equal to or greater than either of those it may prove to be a winner.
