That is kind of cool...but street racing is illegal - you endanger not only yourself but everyone else on the road .

I think a proflile of the other posts I have in this forum will reflect the many reasons I bought this car. One post about going fast and now I "...bought it to race..."

Sorry, Bud, but I was just responding to what you said in your post. You said, "I guess I bought a 400 hp car for the wrong reasons". To me this meant that you bought it in order to race it on the street. If you wouldn't have said it, I certainly wouldn't have assumed it.

What if he wasn't racing on the street? What if the light turned green and they both accelerated briskly and did not exceed the speed limit?

Paulie Walnuts....I understand your excitement but as others said....this is not the place for street racing stories. I'm not a Saint or a Preacher but I do understand the Forum policy.

There is, however, a place for everything. You might look to corvettekillstories.com. If you're in the Chicago area, you might look for shockerracing.com or get with Carelton at spdkilz.com. These guys are into their cars and they do participate at legal track events (which are a blast!)
