I just wanted to comment on the outstanding quality and engineering that has gone into the removable system from Top Flight.I installed my removable bracket yesterday and am really impressed how solid the system is.It is feather light and the welds are beautiful. With the license plate and frame contoured to the bumper,it all but disappears when viewed from the side, and when the plate holder is removed the mounted piece that remains on the bumper is difficult to see unless you put your head into the grill opening. To anyone on the fence about buying this system, just do it.You will not be disappointed.

I'll second that! Put the removable bracket on the Z06 Saturday. For those in two-plate states, this is the way to go if you have to!!!

I am very interested in your licience plate frame and I am curious.
does this in any way affect the air intake system for the C6? I
heard from a GM rep that modifying the front air intake in any way
could damage or hurt the cars preformance! If this is false great
and I will be your next customer. Love the looks of the product
and theres no way I will bolt on the stock frame.

There is no difference in temp, the C6 is a bottom feeder. I've been running with the plate for approx 18 months and not a problem.

Do a search. I was concerned about this also but after reading several posts from members who have installed this front plate assembly and have experienced NO air flow issues, like higher operating temperatures, even on the Z06 cars, I purchased without regret. Keep in mind, the C6 has a pretty large mouth to gobble up all that outside air. And, you can always remove it easily if you get the removeable unit (recommended).

We’ll I took the plunge and just ordered a bracket and frame. Looks like the Perfect solution. My only recommendation is when ordering both the bracket And frame, why can’t you select both when ordering? I had to check out after Ordering the bracket and then place another order for the frame. Maybe I missed Something! Anyway I look forward to receiving you product.

Thank you for the order Ron. I apologize for the inconvenience when ordering, we're working on that.

It seems the factory has a front plate bracket for the 07, at least I checked that box when I ordered mine. It is a no-cost option. I understand that the bracked will be tossed inside the car, but I'll see when I go on the Buyer's Tour this coming Monday at the factory. I don't know how the factory bracket differs from the nice one shown here.

LouieM, the 07 GM bracket is the same as the 05 and 06. The difference between theirs and ours is night and day.

Thanks for the clarification, I didn't even know there was an 05/06 bracket. Conrats on having so many satisfied customers, of which I will be one in the near future.

Ever see a wart on the tip of someone's nose? That's what the factory bracket looks like. Luckily, GM realizes that most buyers will hate their bracket so they use double-sided tape to attach it to the bumper for easy removal.

DO you think this bracket would work with a "Sharknose" C -5?

ITs the aftermarket nose for the C-5. Pretty popular too.

Short story. Took my C6 to Bubbles car wash for a hand wash and a wax yesterday. Sales guy does a double-take when I pull up and says, "is that the stock license plate bracket?" No, I say, it's aftermarket. Guy says, "that is the nicest one I have ever seen on a C6." Thanks, I say, it was the best one I could find. "Did you buy that frame that way or paint it yourself," he asks. Painted it myself with some GM touch-up spray I bought from a Chevy dealer, I tell him. "Very nice," he says. Second guy comes up and says, "I really like the way the plate is curved to follow the bumper." First guy says to third guy, "Hey, check out the front plate on this c6." I'm starting to think these guys are kissing up to get me to buy more services, but it did feel good. The Top Flight removeable bracket is unquestionably the best looking option out there for those of us in two plate states.
