Now, is it just me, or does anyone else feel like this......I really love the yellow, but it is SOO DAMN bright, it draws so much attention, but some of that attention is not good. It draws the eyes of losers, vandals and thiefs even more so than other colors, and they probably would love taking a key, knife, or some other instrument to the side of it if they saw it sitting in a parking lot. Has anyone been like me and loved the color but didn't get it because it was just so loud you just didn't want to draw the attention? I hope I don't regret it, but I guess I'll stick with the Yellow and see how it goes......Thanks to GM eliminating the best RED ever in Torch Red, it made my decision a little easier....
I don't think that Yellow is too bad.....

LMB was my first choice when I had planned to order an 05 coupe. MY just was not my cup of tea, but the order fell through and man I'm glad it did. Decided to wait till late 05 to get a good deal on a LMB, but out of curiosity went to a dealer to peek at the new VY. I fell head over heels for it!
It's bright, it's loud.. it's sweet. Threw some Bullets and some rejex on it and.. No regrets.

I never ever thought I'd buy a Yellow sports car. Ever.
Until I saw the Vette. And I got it.
Yes it draws attention. But that is what you want.
I don't think it will attract thieves as much as you think.
Thought it maybe noticed, so will they with the bright color.
They will stand out next to the car.
It will stand out driving down they road if they want to take it.
Also, White and Yellow are the 2 safest colors. Because they stand out.
People will see you on the road more than any other color.
Especially at night.
No color will stop some ahole from keying it. Just hope you see it if it ever happens, and knock on wood that it doesn't.
You'll love it.

yellow and blue have always been my favorite car colors. yellow and red my wife's. since we agree on yellow, that made it an easy choice. not doing it for attention, although we understand that comes with the territory. VY is simply drop-dead gorgeous.

Ordered my C5 in MY. Loved it for the five years I had it. It's certainly is a LOOK AT ME color that alot of people noticed. The fun part was all the comments I received on it from strangers and fellow enthusiasts. But being a Boy Scout Leader in town, I could never do any "exhibition of speed" in our town, because everyone knew who the Yellow Corvette belong too.
Now I have a LMB C6 and finding myself missing the Yellow... Don't get me wrong I like the LMB, but am thinking all Corvettes should be a "flashy" color...

Notice that Chevy advertises the Z-06 in yellow because that is the best color for a Corvette and the lines come out the best. One thing though the color yellow attracts insects.
If one wants a stealth color on this kind of car silver would be the best as it blends in with all the other silver cars which are the majority of cars out there.

I never thought I'd own a flashy yellow car. I've always bought much more conservative colors. But the moment I saw my future millenium yellow C6, I knew I had to have it. I haven't regreted that decision for a second over the past 18 months. My car is a daily driver. I go everywhere in it, park where I want, I don't worry about it, I just enjoy it.

It is Velocity Yellow. The Mill Yellow was darker and milker.
