Why do so many refer to their car as "Her"?
Just an observation, as I have never refered to any car or truck I've owned (almost 100 now), as Her, She, etc. I have always refered to it as "my car/truck or It". As in "It runs good." not "She runs good"
Me, being an ole male chauvinist, would never drive a "girlie" car/truck.
Remember gang it is my opinion and I do respect others opinions, as well.

I thought you might see it a little differently. Fenders are still sensuous IMO

Well, my cars have all been male.....'Trigger', my first '94, 'Sweetness', my pewter '99, "The Black", my second '99, and I just today bought a red '95 and I'll think of a name as soon as we get better aquainted.
It's just a fun thing to do, guys. Don't be so serious. Ships and airplanes are usually 'she'. Just have some fun with it...my 2 cents.

referring to "IT" using "IT" is rude. referring to him using "HE" makes me sound g@y. hence out of respect I refer to her using "She/her". Besides, she'd be equal to being my second wife (at least thats what the wife keeps on saying).

Congratulations on your Red '95!
I think everybody is having fun with this. I have found myself referring to my future 2007 as a she. And I don't know why? I never have referred to any of my other cars as anything. They were just cars.
