Touch-Up Paint - Machine Silver
Does anyone have experience with the GM Touch-Up paint (code 67) on Machine Silver? How does it blend with the metallic?

I just ordered some Machine Silver touch up form Eckler's. Should get it by Friday.
Have a scratch to cover using the Langko product as well.
I'll let you know how the the color match turned out if you are interested.

I have Langka as well. Waiting for touch-up from Mid America.
My situation: NJ doesn't allow consumers to pump their own gas. Upon getting gas at a station, I found a nice chip by the gas door. Attendent must of hit the paint with the pump / nozzle.

See my post on "Touchup 123" no paint blobs at all.
The best product I have ever used to touch up paint chips.

Why isnt there something like a fine, felt-tipped pen? Granted the metalic wouldnt come thru but the base color would and that would do the trick - without blobs of any kind! Where are the inventors?

I got my silver touch up from the above shop.
They sell bottles, spray cans, paint pens, etc.
You need your VIN number so they can make an exact match.
Mine turned out perfectly!

The attendant never objects. I always get out of the Vette and sometimes they even hand me the nozzle.

I used the GM #67 on my machine silver C6 and it does not match very good--easy to see where I did touch up.
I received an email from Touchup 123 today with the tracking number for my touchup kit.

As for my incident, I really don't see how it happened. The gas pump went in and was removed very carefully. As what most people do when filling their cars, the nozzle went in on an angle to avoid any possible drips. This is when the chip may have occured. While I didn't notice the chip until later that day, I assume this is the case as it is located at the bottom of the gas door. I can only assume that it was a freak thing, as the paint was touched at just the right angle.
At this point, I ordered touch up paint from GM (the dealer) as well as from a company, Paint Scratch. I want to compare to see which blends better.
I plan to try the Langka System, then take the car to my detailer, so he can polish / wetsand to finish. I will post pictures of my process.
Also, to avoid any future situations like this, I purchased a Fuel Guard from Griots Garage.

I've done multiple multiple repairs with touchup123, and it's still looking GREAT 3 months later. I really think this stuff will make standard touchup paint obsolete. You need your color code to order - they'll mix it up for you.
if you are not familar with it,
You're missing out on a great coverup (not a perfect repair - nothing is) if you don't try this stuff. But it wont' stick to very shallow scratches any better than regular paint, so you may have to try several times for those really shallow defects, to get it to stick.

They will match any production color in a 1/2oz felt tip push down applicator pen. Options include flex agent for bumper, trim touch up.
Metallics no problem as I have ordered and used Mercedes "Brilliant Silver Metallic". Clear coat also available !

Better hope your chip or scratch is a small one.

If Paint Scratch is closer in color, I'm sure it won't be too hard to remove the dealer touch up (with Langka) and re-apply with Paint Scratch

I ordered the "Tarnished Machine Silver" paint from Paint Scratch and It is darker than the GM #67.
Paint Scratch included a sample paint swatch and I dabbed the Paint Scratch color on and the #67 on the swatch.
The #67 matched perfectly. The Paint Scratch is darker.
Guess I'll work a bit more on making that #67 match better on my scratch.
