I have had mine for a little over a year and it is amazing the attention it gets. People will pass me by and then be looking back to see the front of the car.

the velocity yellow vert... gets em all! everything else looks black and white once you see it on the road. no way i would have taken any other color! i would love to see the atomic orange in a vert!

My fav "attention story" is from this past january or feb. It was a nice friday (about 50-60 deg) and I took the c6 into work. Went out to hooters for lunch with a friend and on the way back, there was a bentley cont gt next to me at the light. Well I started staring and totally forgot that I was even in a new corvette. The light turned green and I looked in my rear view mirror to see the guy behind me taking pictures of my car with his camera... sometthing I woulda done b4 I got mine. It was a pretty ironic moment. by the way, the person driving the bentley was terrell owens...

My favorite part is the attention i get from the kids. Had one kid just the other day pedaling his bike really fast to catch up to me (I purposely slowed down to let him catch up) and he yelled at me, 'Hey mister, nice car'. Puts a smile on my face every time.

Man, I've owned five of these cars ('59C1,'64C2,'79C3,'02C5,&'06C6), but this '06 VY vert blows the others away in terms of looks. Hard not to notice the yellow even though the lines on the C6 vert are like hypnotic to the general public. Also helps that there aren't too many of these beauties in my neck of the woods. I LOVE THIS CAR !!!

Enjoy it. Most of my conversations have been at red lights. People just like the car and like to talk about it with you. So far, everyone who has struck up a conversation has been very cool so it's easy to keep up the reputation of Corvette owners being nice people. Not sure what I'll do when the first jack@ss opens his mouth though.
