Default Pics from a father/son C5-C6 trip to DEI

My dad traded his 91 Camaro RS for a C5 Z06, so we went on a cruise to DEI together. Here are a few pics:

The view out my passenger window (my copilot took the pic):

We saw a nice C1 on the way there:

I keep telling him to put his license plate bracket on in front, it looks silly... This is at Moorseville, NC, note the scratch under my emblem from the license plate mount that was on the car when I bought it:

My copilot on the left, dad on the right... she likes the C6 better :

At DEI:

At DEI again:

Inside:

I don't have the heart to tell him, but sometimes I wish he kept the 91 Camaro RS. It had 20000 original miles, smelled brand new inside, completely perfect and tastefully modded for autocrossing. Not as fast as his Z06 but it certainly was special, moreso since it was a 3rd Gen not wearing primer and not driven by a guy with a mullet. But once I let him drive my C6, he got the 'vette fever, so I understand. Plus it's a lot of fun to go on C5/C6 cruises with him, two black/black vettes! Great times. Of course I get tired of the C5 Z06 vs C6 Z51 trash talk. Camaro:

Thanks for the pics and it sounds like you had a great trip with your dad and co-pilot ( -pretty young lady ). You are a lucky fella in getting to enjoy and share these times with your dad. Soak it all on. Save the wave.

I noticed that the C5Z has a NC tag on it. If so, he doesn't need a front plate. Have him get a black filler from a dealer and he will be good to go. It will look better than a bracket too. You are fortunate to have a dad to cruise with. Do it often and enjoy life together with your Vettes. I lived near that area for years and never got over to Mooresville and DEI. It looks impressive.
