My C6 was tight all around when I got it over a year ago. It rattles like crazy now, mostly from the rear hatch.

I have two rattles in the dash area. The dealer "fixed" the glove box rattle. That lasted maybe three months. Now I have a rattle somewhere in the steering wheel area. I have rattles in both doors and one somewhere in the hatch area. I also have the roof popping problem that caused the recall notice. By far, the C6 is the worst rattle trap car I have ever owned.

I've had an annoying rattle from day one. It sounds like it's coming from behind the instrument panel, and you only hear it when you are on hard acceleration. Kinda sounds like a quarter in a tin cup bouncing around. Haven't taken it to the dealer yet, as I'm scared of what they will do the interior.

'05 coupe, 10,500 miles:
1) Shifter **** rattle at ~3k to 4k RPM. Dealer attempted to fix, was unsuccessful. I'm officially on record with GM as being dissatisfied with the rattle/lack or repair. I've learned to live with it.
2) Rattle/groan from the rear hatch area when driving over ramps/driveways. Haven't asked the dealer to address yet.
3) Climate control fan buzzes loudly on a cold start, eventually quiets down after driving a couple miles. Haven't asked the dealer to address yet.

Nice car to drive but some bad paint work along with some misaligned panels and a nice center console squeek! I would like to fix it but I am afraid of what the dealer will screw up so I will just live with it until my next car. They really could do a better job building this car at $63k price tag for a loaded verti.

You do not need to take a poll. If it has a squeak/rattle just find a competent tech at a Chev dealer and get it fixed. The poll will do nothing toward getting this fixed.
