Default Change XM to Sirius ?

Is there a way to get Sirius intergrated into the car like XM? I have Sirius in my truck and like it better than XM.

This has been promised since about last November. It looks like it's almost available.

SIR-GM1

Google SIR-GM1 for more potential sources. It would be a good idea to wait until someone actually verifies that it works with your model radio.

XM is horrible! Sirius is so much better and more clear. I dont know about you but XM dosent even play as loud or clear as regular radio! How will it work with the radio/nav systems we have? Software upload or something?

I worked in the radio business and I've had both, and its not even close. XM is a far better service. Better programming, better, or at a minimum, equal sound quality. I'm finding it hard to believe that you guys advocating Sirius are for real! Given the fact that Sirius has already gone Chapter 11 twice, and that XM has over 70% of the market you dont have much to back you up.

Don't which is better, because I have neither. But when I rent a car, and I do so frequently for work, Avis provides cars with XM, and I love it.
I have nothing to compare it to, but this is a very slick way to sell XM...

Plus Stern has failed to bring in the listeners Sirius had expected. Another bad move on the part of Sirius.

You must love Baseball because other than that, I see no value in XM...Its just horrible to me and everybody else who gets in my car...Its funny cause they get in and they're like "what the hell are you listening too?" Then I have to search though hundreds of stations to find something...I love driving in my wifes car cause sirius is always jamming plus they have the NFL package not to mention HOWARD STERN!!!! XM has nothing except Martha...WHOOPIE DOO! Im not old, retired and want to fall asleep when driving so xm is not for me...Cant wait for a SIRIUS UPGRADE...
Oh yeah, buy the stock, its only at around $5 bucks a share! You gonna kick yourself 2-3 years from now if you dont!

The pay Stern 8.3 mil per month...the 760,000 (and growing by thousands every day) listeners that can be directly attributed to Stern's fan base grosses almost 9.9 mil per month. Bad move? I'll take 1.5 mil per month profit per month on one deal.

Default Sirius

I'm glad you like Sirius more..really helps me out..lol. Can you tell I own alot of Sirius stock (25000 shares worth)?...I agree with the the guy mentioning you'll be kicking yourself for not getting in on that...The device is coming, well hopefully. It keeps getting delayed for some reason. Hopefully soon though. Good luck man

I have XM. Just got Sirius, not by choice but because it was the only sat radio that the Eclipse deck would take. First off, I have to say no matter wheather it's Sirius or XM, it's satellite radio! I'll take that over regular FM or even CD any day! XM is far from being horrible, but that's your opinion. Both seem to have the same programming, but I do prefer XM over Sirius, it just sounds better!

John
Sirius can declare chapter 11 a dozen times and only hold 3% of the market for all I care. As long as I get the service I enjoy I will be a happy man. Also, XM was the first satellite radio provider so the way I look at it is that they have already LOST 30% of the market that they once owned 100% of.

Wait until more stations start broadcasting HD Radio, I'll cancel both XM and Sirius when that happens. CD quality FM with FM quality AM and to top it off...it's free, just need to buy the receiver. Yeah I know there are still benefits to sat radio, no comercials, blah blah blah.
