Default C6 Tail Light Seals From Southern Car Parts

Try our newly launched Tail Light Seals and stop the "Dreaded Drip"

Could not leave the C6 guy's out!!! Thanks to boozman for allowing us to come over and test fit the seals on his beautiful C6

We have had tremendous response with the C5 tail light seals. See the below threads for feedback. Now we have launched the same type of seals for the C6!!!!!!
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...1&forum_id=103
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...68&forum_id=53

What is the dreaded drip? The dreaded drip is when you just finish washing and drying your Corvette, everything looks awesome.....You walk around your pride and joy for that one last look and there it is, the DREADED DRIP. It is the water that collects in your tail lights (because GM did not put a seal between the tailight and the body) and then drips out and down the rear bumper 5-10mins AFTER you finish drying your car. It is also the water that collects in the taillights and attracts all the road grime when you first take your Vette for a spin after a good washing.

Southern Car Parts Tail light seals solve the problem FOREVER, guaranteed!!!!!

Our tail light seals take less than 7 minutes to install, come with instuctions, and are pre-cut to be an exact fit every time. Only tools needed to intall them is a T15 Torx head and window cleaner. No glueing as they have a self-adhesive backing.

The seals are made from a high quality rubber that is UV resistant, temp resistant, and water resistant....THE SEALS ARE GUARANTEED FOR THE LIFE OF YOUR CAR. If they ever rot, crack, tear, or fade we will REPLACE THEM FREE OF CHARGE!

You will NEVER see the DREADED DRIP again!!!!!

Price is $24.99.

It's hard to tell on the pic with the black vette, but are they visible when installed and looking at the car from behind?

They really look like they came with the Vette.

Here is a closeup on a C5. Same finished look close up on the C6.

Give them a shot, if you aren't happy we'll refund your money.

What happens to the water that can't "leak" out after installing the seals?

No water in, no water out.

Give them a shot, you'll like em once they are installed and you wash the car for the first time.

Default Tail Lamp Seals

I have a recently built 2006 C6. Do I need these seals or did GM add them to more recently built Vettes?

Thanks,

Rich

The problem this vendor mentions is real and perhaps I would call it a pest.. The same thing happens on the two rear view exterior mirrors.

Same pesty issue with the 2006's. Not a big deal, just an irritant when you wash your car.

See ya,

jim

I agree, but there are times (maybe even out at BG) where I don't have the blower and then this would be very helpfull as well as the mirror covers...

Is that right.
OK.
I'll give 'em a try (since you're putting your money where your mouth is ).

I've noticed the drip shtick and it is a PITA, would love nothing more than getting rid of the problem.

Turns out the seals were cheaper than a leaf blower

So my order is in.
