I liked the Torch Red on my C5 - orange red. To me the Victory Red looks brownish. When I ordered my 2006 I went with Velocity Yellow. No regrets – nice change of pace after having owned 3 red Vets. If I was to order another one in the future and Torch Red was once again available I wouldn't rule it out.

The quote was, "All Corvettes are red, the rest are just mistakes", as stated by an engineer during a discussion about the C5 mules and a request to paint them red instead of the normal white, and yes this is a very old thread.

I have a VR and a friend of mine has the Yellow "color. Both are great colors, however, the yellow attracts the black flying insects.

I have Magnetic Red on my 05 (avatar) and Victory Red on my 08 Impala SS. I like both. It is a matter of preference. I think your Victory and Torch Reds give a car a more "racy" look. Whereas, the Magnetic Red and Monterey Red give it a more elegant look. Out of all of them. I like my Magnetic Red. So, take your time and check them all out........
