Default $2000 Found, What to Do?

I recently realized I have about $ 2,000 I can spend on the C6 with out sending any shockwaves to the wife. Here are the modifications I have done thus far:

Borla Cat Back Aggressive
Halltech Stinger System
Chrome Wheels

What should I do next? I have heard many good things about West Coast Corvette? (I live in San Diego so it will be a bit of a drive) I’m thinking headers or something similar. Any advice would be appreciated.

Spring Mountain! As Janet said, the best modification you can make is to the DRIVER.

Here's what you do. Come to the Krispy Kreme on Sunday, meet me (Sparky) and all the other winners, including...Datawiz (OUR STAR ATTRACTION)...if Category 5 Storm Wilma lets him leave and come visit sunny California!

We'll give you so many suggestions, that it'll make you ears bleed!!!

So, you better be there!

Sorry about that. I'll just get a cardboard cut-out of you and have that as your stand-in...no one will notice a thing, okay!

I am going to do Spring Mountain as well. I just saw the dyno video of the young guy in Houston showing his lowered C6 with headers and high flow cats. I was in love...

Unfortunately, I'm not quite THAT skinny. Still up in the air on what to do. This goofy storm just keeps delaying. Maybe the thing to do is go ahead and come and then fly back if necessary.

Default mods

If you don't decide on the driving school, the next best mod would have to be headers for the sotp feel, and you should have a couple hundred left over that you could send me for the consulting fee i just decided on!!!

Life is good! Now you'll know how to handle all the new power when you get back.

I would the skip the bling bling chomie homeboy rims and put the entire $2k into a set of Kooks long tubes/X pipe and a good dyno tune.

Save the 2 grand to put toward your next new Vette!

I used to do the mod/customizing to my Harley's...but I have come to realize, if I save that money ($5K-$10K) I can buy a new HD in a year and I would rather have a new ride than a custom used ride. Same applies to my C6 Vert.

Disclaimer: Some of you guys have AWESOME custom Vettes (all generations).

my .02

Lars

See you there Sunday ... .... maybe we could take a small smidgin' of that $ 2k and buy some suds at the brewhouse while we're providing suggestions on what to do with it.

I would also seriously consider the LG's in place of the Kooks.

If Hurricane Wilma lets me leave Florida, I've been know to be pretty generous in the suds dept.
