This question was raised many times for the C5, and no one had a scientific answer. But, just as examples many folks ran without them, and apparently that was even more the case for F-bodies.

My C5 was supercharged for a good 2 years and since my stock rail covers wouldn't fit I had none; never had an issue.

Ok, so I know someone has done some price investigating out there. Whose got a good deal on the FRC? I've only looked at Corvette Central and they are around $280.

Anyone got pics of machine silver with black or chrome lettering? I have a silver vert and am trying to decide if I want silver or the black ones. I noticed the black pics posted above. Thanks!
