I'm Having Way More Fun...........
............than any one man ought to be allowed to have since I bought this car.
My C5 was a great car. In fact, I thought it was impossible to improve on it. Was I ever wrong.
Its uncanny how much more improved this car is over my C5. I'm not only talking about just the 50 extra horses and the handling and ride improvements. I am also talking about the comfort features, ergonomics, layout and the other "little things" that by themselves may not mean much..............but collectively make the C6 the clear step up from the prior generation.
I thought you guys were bull$#!++in' but after nearly a month of ownership I can honestly say that this is the best Vette yet and I have owned a C4, C5 before this one.
and a to all you guys on the C6 forum who called it like it was. For the owner of a late model C5 it is difficult to believe that it can be improved upon..........but the C6 has clearly , decisively and without question, done just that.

About time a C5 came out of the closet!
Sick of hearing the same old bash -
"I raced a C6 today with my bone stock, oil-burning, 150,000 mile, C5. The C6 with all the mods and pro driver did 13.9 and I at 12.5 in the quarter mile with my whole frat house stuffed under the hatch and Icecream truck in tow!"
Yeah . . .ok

me too, I've learned how to drift on city streets as well as proficiently slaughter fuzzy squirrels. Not to mention, I've gotten a great tan this year spending plenty of HOURS detailing my car and driving with the top off. It's been three months and I still drive with the top off quite often.....and people said I'd get tired of it quickly.

This car is lightyears ahead of my 1992 C4. Naturally, the C5's were way better than the C4's, so I think they call this progress.
