Let's see how bad the dead battery issue has gotten....
There have been lots of threads about the dead battery issue. Now that the C6 has been out for nearly a year, I'm curious to see just how bad this problem has gotten. My own C6 has, at this point, had no battery problem at all. It's a 10/04 build.
I'm also curious if this problem has affected any of the folks with the 1SX or 1SA packages. Have any of the 1SB cars without OnStar or NAV been affected?

It's happened to me twice. I had to replace it the first time and second time got a jump start. Took it in twice and they could not find anything wrong with the car.

I had the DBS several times. MN6 Z-51. Always in reverse, no add-ons like Lo-Jack. 5 trips to three different dealers. Battery replaced by dealer. Problem resurfaced. The last dealer said I don't have relay #46. Well, I checked and I "did" have relay #46. I pulled it and have had no further problems. The only other change I have made is manually locking it with the key fob even though it's in the garage. I really think that tells the car it's gone to bed. So far so good. About a month without a battery discharge event. That's the longest I've gone in the 10 months I've owned the car w/o a discharge event.

I now have the auto tranny, with XM & OnStar (no Nav), and no battery problems for 4K miles and 6 months. I previously had a 6-spd with XM & OnStar (no Nav) and no battery problems for 1900 miles and 3 months. Both coupes had base suspension.

I lock my doors manually also when I leave the car, even in the garage, and it really seems to shut everything down ASAP.I wait until the alarm light starts to flash, which only seems to take a few seconds.
