180 on a parkway that runs along the beach. 15 miles long, 3 lanes each way...deserted during the winter

so damn true

119 mph at 3:30 AM on the 15E before Barstow, CA. With one wet-crotched passenger in the passenger seat.
(she was a skank, so I made her Zaino the seat )

Woody:

See the seat odor post... you could be in trouble.

Speed, more than twice the legal limit on I-15 between San Diego and Temecula early one fine Sunday morning (speed limit is 70). Many time at 120-130 and this car is rock solid, hard to believe you are going that fast. Always with no other cars around, would only injure myself if anything happened, my choice my price. The thing that is most surprising to me is how long it takes to coast back to normal speed.

151 in my C6 Mag red Vert with the top down on highway 93 North of Las Vegas. The car was smooth with plenty of power. My conclusion is that it was to fast for a public highway. After I shut it down and coasted to the speed limit I came across a highway patrolman about 2 miles down the road. I gave the wave!

120 and it seemed like it took forever to get back down to the speed limit of 65.

168 between Jax & Daytona - I-95 about 3 AM...

Think about just how much TROUBLE you'd get in, getting clocked that fast (or as fast as others on this thread claim to have gone on public hiways).

The first time I got blue-lighted in my C6, I had to choke down a laugh and the urge to RUN. Last time I did that was 15 years ago, on a VERY FAST motorcycle.

Funniest part is, the neighbor accross the street has an IDENTICAL black C6 (and no garage). If they don't get my tag#, I can ZOOM into my garage, and they'll go banging on HIS DOOR.

Hmmmmm....

Rick
