Default My dad and I just bought C6's

I got a Blue Z51 6-speed, he got the orange Z51 auto.

Anyway, how soon can we zaino/NXT/tropicare them? Mine got to the dealer Friday. Still has the tape/plastic on it. We pick them up tomorrow.

YAY!!!

You can Zaino them right away, use a clay bar first if you really want a smooth slick surface

Agree. I just did the Zaino thing yesterday. Started with the clay bar, Z-1, Z-2 then Z-6.

Dont think you need to use the clay on a brand new car that's still wrapped in plastic. When I picked mine up the plastic was removed and I drove it home to zaino it. clay is used to remove trash that has attached itself to the paint

That is great 2 C6's in one family. I don't suppose their is going to be some competition between the 2 of you.
Zaino immediately, follow all the instructions on the Zaino website including claybar.
I used claybar on my C6 the second day I had it. My wife questioned why but I could show her the little bit of dirt and grim that came off the car with the clay bar.
Zaino it and enjoy it.

You would be surprised at how much crap the clay bar picks up

That's awesome...!!! My dad has always been a Vette guy and flew in this weekend to look at my new C6. After a few hours in the car, he had me call my dealer to see what kind of deal he could get. My dad will be signing papers tomorrow on his new C6... Funny how that works!!!

BTW- that makes a total of 4 Corvettes (including mine) that I've given my dealership this month!!!!
