Default I got an idea . . . . .

Hey, . . I got an idea. Let's put an emblem
that says "GM" on all General Motors cars to
let people know that this is a GM product.

Wait a minute . . . lets put 4 emblems on
each car to let people know that this is
a GM product ( 4 times the return ).

Thanks for listening . . . . . . .

I got a better idea....Let's not build the cars that we already have sold but instead build stock orders and hope we can pay someone $1000 to buy one. Let's see @750 cars/ week for 6 weeks that is only a $4.5 million dollar mistake, but hey they can obviously afford it!

They should have went to court instead of paying, Fiat will be dead by the time the trial is over.

Nope...the ONLY way for GM to get out of this is more constraints....

"The automaker also said it would not provide any earnings guidance for the 2005 calendar year."

This is the scary part of this release.

It appears some of it has already been paid with the balance of $707.74 millioin is expected to be paid by May 13th. If payments were already made by the end of last month, the Fiat tab would have been part of the cause for the losses.
