Default Front license plate holder

I just received my front license plate holder from Bailey Motorsports and I must say for $65.95 plus shipping this is a piece of **** not worthy of installing on the C6. It's a simple formed aluminum sheet metal part with no finish and they didn't even remove the burrs .
Could someone who purchased one of these explain what they did to make it look presentable. Unfortunately the front plate is mandatoy in MA and my car is due any day and I'm running out of time, help!

Default License Plate Holder

Peter C, I have installed a front plate holder from Baileys Motorsports on my Mag Red C6 Coupe. I am satisfied with it after I did the following. Mount the plastic front plate holder that GM gave you for the front plate to the metal bracket and then mount your tag to the that. I used industrial velcro to attach the bracket to the vette front spoiler using four contact points. Two on the horizontal mount surface and two on the vertical mount surface. Hold is excellent and I can take the tag off when I like. I will try to post a close up picture soon of how it looks.

Default Front License Plate.

I purchased the front license bracket from Man Machine Interface, Inc. Although it takes some time to install, it looks as good as possible. I have a Black C6, so I purchased a plastic cover that had a Black trim that went around the plastic cover and the license plate. The license hangs between the lower front piece and the grille. If you want the e-mail address, I can get it. They are on the Forum, that's where I got there name. It costs around $100 plus. The entire bracket is made of aluminuim, I believe.

Did you get the anodized or the polished? How's the finish? Does it have any cushions where it comes in contact with the front bumper?
