I would highly advise against the Mid America cover- I ordered one, it took 6 weeks to arrive, didn't even come close to fitting, and I returned it (and am out for about $32 for postage both ways!!)

Anyone have the Noah from California Car Covers- if so, is it bulky? How about the Softweave from California Car Covers?

it would work. Mid-America called all of its customers me included to see if the fit was correct so they sent out another carcover free of charge and let me keep the old one too. I didn't have my car yet so I told them it would be at least a month before I get the car and they said that was fine just see if it fits correctly and give them a call.

Glad the cover worked out for you LS WON, but
Mid America definitely did NOT contact all the customers...multiple people sent theirs back and were never refunded for their postage costs and never received any free car covers. There were threads on this forum about it around November '04

Default Need a cover that won't scratch the paint...Help!

I have seen various post for car covers, but can't decide which cover to purchase for my C6 that will not scratch the fender and quarter panel edges. I purchase a silver cover with the C5 emblem on it from WCC. This tops sucks as the material inside is not soft. I would like to purchase the cover at a store but it seems that this type item is ordered online. So whats the best top I should purchase? The car is parked outside.

They did take some "hits" from their customers on this problem. they tried to be the first on the market and it was a"bomb"!

As a matter of fact, I have that very one on my C6 right now. Bought mine through Corvette Central.

I've got no complaints.
