Anyone notice the drivers seat move or click at all on their Z06? When i turn from one direction to another, left to right, right to left, etc, fairly sharply, it seems like the seat moves just a tiny bit almost like it has a tiny bit of play in the mounts or something. Is this normal? Also when I accelerate really fast a tiny bit of wiper fluid comes out of the wipers and goes up the windshield...that normal also? LOL Guess it at least says the car is really FAST

I have a little seat movement in my drivers seat also, don't know if it can be tightened although I might check into one of these days when I have time.

Mine doesn't ooze wiper fluid on acceleration though.

Its usually just 1 or 2 drops (literally) and only happens maybe 33% of the time

I've noticed slight seat movement as well as the washer fluid up the windshield on a 2002 Z.

Same here on the seat movement, if I remember correctly to fix it you had to replace the whole seat track. I recall a similar topis some time ago.
On the fluid drops... I think the cars are just crying for mods.. mine did this until it got a Blackwing... than it stopped.. go figure

Had the same problem on my 02. took it back to dealship and had it repair under warranty. I alos have the drops of washer fluid we pressing on the pedal a little strong.

Both are fairly common.

The bushings in the seat wear out and have to be replaced. Replacing them is a real pain. If you can get it fixed under waranty then I would suggest you do that. If not then wait until you can tolerate the movement any longer before trying to fix the bushings. As the whole seat track assembly needs to be taken apart to get to the bushings. Then you have to fabricate washers or some other material to fit into the space where the bushings have worn away.

The incontinent washer system is also very common. The simplest fix is the not fill the reservoir all the way to the top. If you keep dow below ~3/4 it will not do this. The more technical fix is to install a valve produced by Ford into the washer fluid line.

Well my Z06 only has 700 miles on it and the seat has been noticeably "loose" since about 550, so I'll try to take it in to get it fixed...the problem is the dealer will most likely say theres no problem because the only time it's noticeable is during sharp corners under somewhat aggressive driving - but its definitely annoying.

It that is the case.
It may be just a loose seat bolt. I would check those before taking it to the dealer for them to screw up.

When you get in the car put your seat belt on before you push the key all the way in. Pull the seat belt all the way out and let it go so it will not come back out. Push it in a little tighter then push the key all the way in. The movement of the seat forward will tighten the seat belt and the seat. I think you will also like the way this controls you body although is it nothing like a race car hook up.

it happens on all power seats, not just corvettes... if you have the seat up high and the front part of the seat raised for better thigh support the seat will creak, same thing happens in my x5. I lowered the seat and adjusted the seat bottom to be more parallel to the ground and it went away

The Rocking Seat syndrome which I had twice in my 97 is a slight rocking of the seat forward and backwards. The track gets loose and the only way to fix it is to replace it. Best to do this under warranty since it is not cheap to buy the track. GMPP will pick up the cost of this repair if you are out of warranty and happen to have GMPP. It didn't take much to get it replaced. I took it in and complained to the Service Writer and he sat in the car depressed the clutch and when the seat rocked back he said we'll order the part and let you know when it comes in. Two days later I got the call and took the car in for the repair.
