Anyone here in the Z06 section tried the new NXT wax?
There has been quite a bit of discussion in the Car Care Products section.
Well I gave it a try.
Here is my post on results.

I have used NXT on my black Z and am thoroughly happy with the results. I have not used zaino so I can not compare, but I can not imagine how a black car could look much better, the NXT gives it a very deep, wet look. I did not find it particularly hard to remove, maybe you had applied it too thick as you had stated. I try to put a thin even coat on moving just in one direction, not circular motions.
I must admit I was put off by the Zaino products because it seemed that with all the prep required to properly apply it I would spend half the weekend doing so, and I bought the car to drive it. NXT is easy, relatively cheap and IMO gives a great result. Plus it's sold locally at Pep boys, so easy to pick up.
This topic ought to set off a war between the Zaino boys and the NXT crowd.

i have 2 coats on the z and like it so far its a wetter shine than the zaino that i use faithfully so for me to change it has to be special...
im going to use it on our 89 red trans am and see/post pics as well
i put one coat on my daily driver silver pickup its been raind on already an i want to see how durable it is/how long it lasts...
i applied thin coats as well so it was fairly easy to remove

Ordered some up from the company. NOT currently available in Toronto, Canada.
I'll get mine in a week. BTW free shipping directly from the manufacturer for the entire month of April/2004 !
Cheers!

you put too much on if you had trouble getting it off and had problems getting it to dry. you can apply, dry and remove on a vette in 45 minutes total.
as with most products, slapping excessive amounts on does not equate to a better shine or better protection.

I love it... I've tried everything Meguiar's makes and this is the best. I was skeptical but after all the hoopala on here I had to try it. I picked up some of the spray wax enhancer yesterday and plan on detailing the car tomorrow.

I have used just about everything on my cars. I was a huge Zaino user, but recently have opted for Klasse Twins topped with S100. I recently compared NXT to AIO/SG/s100 combo on the Z06. I was as happy with NXT, with 1/3 of the work.

I tried it. It's quick, easy and great results!
But I like the results with Zaino a little better.
Try it, some people prefer NXT.
