Re: Window Cleaning ? (TeamSpeed)
I tried alot of cleaners and not really happy with any of them. Mequires seem to work the best but the windows seem to have a film that never really come off. the slightest touch mares the finish on the windows. I will have to try wiping the windows with something better than paper towels.

Re: Window Cleaning ? (BOBCFR)
I was having a problem getting mine clean with regular glass cleaner - switched to a distilled vinegar & water mixture & it works great!

Sprayway glass cleaner and TurtleWax ClearVue both are safe for tinted windows. Remember it is the ammonia that can damage or streak the tint. I like the ClearVue the best and it is easier to find.

I like clear vue.....but whatever you use...make sure it is amonia free...that is the key for tinted windows. It will state "amonia free" on the bottle. :)

I use Stoner's Ivisible Glass Cleaner also. It's the best product I have tried (and I have tried just about all of them), not sure though if is safe for aftermarket tinted windows. It is also not that easy to find not all auto places carry it.

Don't know how it would work on windows with exta tint added but I use Dupont DX330 on mine. Being a Prep Sol it gets all the dirt and grease off. It dries the hands out a little but it stays wet long enough to use on the windows.

Re: Window Cleaning ? (Threed)
hi threed
i used to use the Stoner product which is great - but when we were out in Nevada last summer for the WSCC convention (buncha corvettes gathering for poker run, autoX, drag racing, fun!) a guy told me that all he uses is water. Yep, water. If you dont have a lot of gunk built up, all you need to do is wet a small towel, wipe down the window, then take a clean teri towel and (vigorously) dry the window. Works great! No "product" build-up on the glass. Give it a try!
