Default Good-Bye Zanio Hello Pinnacle

Well I've been a Zaino user for about 3 years now, it's a great product. I just put my first coat of Pinnacle Souveran wax on and all I can say is WOW. The Zaino gave the Z a brillant mirror glass line shine but the Pinnacle made a huge difference in the richness and depth on my EB Z. The Z still shines like a mirror but the Pinnacle makes the car look so .

Let me know if the protection is still there in 6 months like Zaino.

Like I said I'VE BEEN A ZAINO USER FOR THREE YEARS it's a great product and I know for a fact that Pinnacle wont last six months as it's a wax unlike Zaino. But I reallly don't care as the Z is garage kept. I also forgot to mention that the Pinnacle is sooooooo much easier to use than Zaino. You just wipe it on and wipe it off even before it's dry! :D :smash:

I was also a Zaino user for 3-4 years until I switched to Pinnacle Souveran. I get really tired of hearing people talk about the durability of Zaino...sure it is durable but how many Corvette owners do you know that wait 6 months between polishing? More often I hear guys bragging how they just put their 12th coat of Zaino on in the last 3 months. Pinnacle is so damn easy to apply and wipe off I can do my whole car in about 20 minutes...no waiting for it to dry especially if it is humid outside. Shine is very subjective but on the darker cars the difference is very noticeable, much deeper and wetter looking.

Hey if you are happy with Zaino stick with it, but if you have never tried Pinnacle then you really cant comment on the difference between the two. I would much rather polish my car more often to have it look better then use Zaino once every six months and not have the shine that i like. Just my 2 cents...

I like the Zaino as well. But, it doesn't last 6 months in FL. I get 2-3 months max. Maybe if I didn't drive the car everyday and kept it parked in the garage I could get 6 months. But, that isn't my case.

I have been using IBIZ on my Black Z06 and it is incredible.

Has anyone ever compared IBIZ and Pinnacle?

I guess my point is, I use Zaino for protection. There's more to "waxing' than making it shiny. I am protecting the paint, and that's priority one. No product does that better. If you are just looking for shiny then yes Pinnacle is the way to go. P21S is also very shiny.

I just think many people don't understand that these ultra shine products offer almost no protection for the paint. Four years down the road on a dark colored car compared side by side it will be very obvious who used what. To me that's the important thing.

I've been using Zaino for over 3 years on my Z. It still looks like brand new if not better. Zaino is the best I've ever used, hands down!!! :auto:

I put down a sealant first Meguiar's Professional #20, very high shine and depth with extreme durability. Then I went with the shine of Zaino. Strange that the gods haven't kicked this to the car care box seats yet. :D

Funny thing, when I was using Zaino I constantly had trouble with water spots and an occasional bird crap. Now I know no polish or wax will protect against certain types of bird crap (acidic) but Pinnacle eliminated my water spotting problem completely and I never had a problem with bird crap since...

Default Re: Good-Bye Zanio Hello Pinnacle (CPT Z06)

Thanks CPT ZO6, been there done that have read the car care section many times.

My Z must have at least 20 coats of Z-2 and 6 coats of Z-5 on it. When I used the Pinnacle I did not strip it of the Zaino and thus I feel it was one of the reasons for the awsome results.

It must be very similar to the Klasse/Pinnacle applications that were posted.

Again don't all you die hard Zaino fans get me wrong ZAINO IS AN AWSOME PRODUCT, I just happen to prefer the results that I have gotten with my recent application of Pinnacle.

I am surprised the Zaino gurus havent scolded you for layering your Zaino on top of another product. They say Zaino will not bond to the paint unless you strip everything else off first. I have read some people have Zainoed first then layered the Pinnacle on top for a deeper shine.
